THIS COMPANY WILL STOOP TO ANYTHING TO GET OUT OF PAYING A CLAIM
BEWAHREND TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
I purchased some appliances and along with the appliances I purchased an extended warranty which happen to be through CPS. I immediately registered the items after the purchase and fast forward 2 1/2 years when my refrigerator broke down.
I got onto the CPS website but was unable to file a claim. I sent them an email through their system notifying them of the same. I call the following day, provide my info and am told that the warranty on the refrain was already assigned to another person. I said that I provided the doc and was able to register it in their system but now i'm told it was previously assigned to someone else.
I call and leave a msg with appliance company but in mean time I speak to CPS and was told that they were working to have me keep the warranty # and to *** the following day for status. The next day I made 18 phone calls to CPS and NO ONE would pick up their phone. I got no response from CPS and due to a previous dispute with appliance co, they void my warranties. I go back and forth between Appliance co & Warranty Co for approx 2 months with no resolution, mean while I had to have my refrigerator repaired by the Mfg.
After 2 months and after the Appliance Co re-issuing new warranties, CPS's supervisor Eli comes to me and tells me they can't cover the repairs because they occurred outside the coverage period and even if the repairs did occur within the new warranty period, coverage only becomes effective after 90 days. I cannot believe my ears and get into a heated discussion with Eli where he does not listed and repeatedly speaks over me as he tells me that i did not contact them in the time period before the original warranties were voided. I explained that I did and was told by an employee that they were working on keeping the orig policy #, I provided copy off an email that was sent and I supplied copy of phone records showing the phone calls and they still would not believe me. The employee I spoke to either hid to destroyed the records of our conversation in order to document that I did not contact them prior to the policies being voided.
This is a very shifty company with very loose morals and just seem too be an extension/subsidiary of the appliance company. This is not the type of company you would want to deal with, they make things happen in order to conform with the way they want things to be if you know what I mean.
And the supervisor Eli has absolutely no customer service skills the way he constantly spoke over me and when I tried to correct his inaccuracies, he just kept talking and never once took the time to listen to what I had to say, extremely poor customer relations. BE WARNED

Preferred solution: I want the cost of all three extended warranties refunded PLUS be paid the cost of the actual repairs performed by the mfg LG
Consumer Priority Service is just big a scam!
I purchased a phone off Ebay and was contacted by this bunch of scam artists to purchase a warranty including accidental breakage. When I contacted them a few months later they were very quick to tell me the warranty was active and what it covered.
All they needed was proof of purchase. That's where they get you. They do not accept any Ebay or Paypal documents as an official proof of purchase. Every time I sent something to them they declined it as proof and followed up with another email saying my case would be closed, because I had not responded to them within (5) days.
I know it was only twenty couple bucks, but don't fall into their trap. Save your money towards replacing the item yourself.

LG TV Extended Warranty Issue
CPS finally agreed to send out service tech without my giving out my credit card. Problem was not evident when service tech was at my home.
They were going to take TV back to their shop but they recommended calling cable service back because they felt that a new routing of cable to the TV may correct the problem. They offered to take TV to their shop but I told them I will probably buy a new TV.
The moral of the story is DO NOT PURCHASE A 2ND PARTY WARRANTY. BUY LOCAL & SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF GRIEF!

I purchased LG Flat screen with extended 3 year service contract with CPS. They want my MC# before sending out a service tech.
I've already paid for an extended warranty. Before they even issue a claim #, you have to send them a copy of the invoice, then you have to call the manufacturer to see what can be done. My cable box has been changed 3 times, LG re-set the audio remotely and the problem persists with distorted audio. This is a rip-off!
Consumer Priority Service does not honor warranties! Don't buy an extended warranty with CPS

I did get a warranty with CPS from an eBay purchase but when I submitted a claim they gave me the run around. 2 - 3 days before they even send u an email to tell u what steps to take try to get ur phone repaired?
No answer of phones after 5?
Cell phones are primary forms of communication nowadays. I am reporting to bbbb eBay and whatever other agency handles possible scams
